REFRESHERS WEEK

With the new school year nearly upon us, we are looking forward to welcoming back our students from last year, as well as welcoming several new ones for the first time.  Everyone can expect a new and different experience from the previous year, whether starting at the school for the very first time, moving up into the middle school, or just moving up into the next year group.

It can be a daunting experience having to start working at full speed straight away, while at the same time making new friends, forging new working relationships or simply catching up with old friends – particularly after a long summer holiday.

To make the transition from holiday to work a smooth one, we at Acorn House International have planned a variety of activities to help your children settle in happily and calmly.

This will include introductions, classroom design, mixed-class group work, assemblies and reward systems, culminating in team-building exercises on the final day.

The students will be reminded of Acorn House’s positive values and expectations:

Promptness

Politeness

Preparedness

Productivity

Patience

See you next week!
