Behaviour award certificates are used to acknowledge, record and reward positive behaviour at Acorn House International.

This is done through the completion of a behaviour award certificate by a teacher or other member of staff.

Informally known as a “green slip”, these are awarded to students for especially pleasing attitude, piece of work, or act of kindness.

The awarding teacher presents the certificate to the student, who then takes it to the middle school coordinator, who in turn places it in the student’s behaviour file.  This positive behaviour is also acknowledged on the school, for parents to see what excellent things their children and their classmates have been doing.
