Homework Time

In order to help students with their studies, and manage their time effectively, we offer them the opportunity to complete their homework under the supervision of a teacher, who is on hand to answer any questions the student may have. We want the students to understand the process involved in solving a mathematical equation or responding to a question in a reading text. We are not there to simply give the answer to a question but more to assist them. We can help students take control of their homework and encourage them to think for themselves about the various ways to solve a problem and obviously, respond to a request for help if the need arises.

We also want to assure parents that we only accept the best behaviour from our students if they are attending our after school clubs. It is important that students understand that this is not a social club. It is where they can take advantage of the help given by a teacher.

Ultimately, if we find that students are repeatedly miss-behaving, we will be forced to suspend the student for the remainder of the school term.
Repeated miss-behaviour is not only disrespectful to our teachers and fellow students but also detrimental to the others wanting to work.

Homework club runs daily from 15:45 to 16:45 in English and in Italian from 15:45 to 17:45.
Parents are requested to specify the frequency that their children will attend the club and also the specific days. This can be communicated to our Administration Office where the costs can be finalised. Below you can find a table of not only the Homework Club but also the other courses that are being run after school for our students.
