Acorn House Sport Club
In 2012 Acorn House Sport Club was formed, with the objective to encourage students from Casa Ghianda to participate in different sports, not only for their physical well-being and enjoyment, but also to offer an opportunity outside the classroom, for students to socialize and spend time together, whether that be working in a team or as an individual. Its success has grown and we are now called Casa Ghianda Sport. We are continually looking to expand and to be innovative when it comes to our offering. We want to create a family feel inside our sports clubs, so we are not only open to students and parents, but former students as well and even friends, or family members attending other schools.
The after-school activities are managed by Casa Ghianda Sport and co-ordinated by Carlo Gandelli and Nick Rogerson. All courses follow the school calendar.
Sports currently offered are:
- MACS (Metodo Atletico Culturale Sportivo)
Children have the opportunity to attend twice a week, in any sport they choose. You can subscribe to one or more discipline if you wish and combine this with our Homework Club as you see fit.
Our sports instructors are all qualified professionals and we collaborate with other sports associations and federations.
